10-12 month olds...nap schedule help needed!

DS needs two naps, but he's been fighting the second one like crazy. What are the rest of the kiddies this age doing?

The schedule I try for is:

Wake up: 6:30
Nap 1: 10:30 (1 1/2 -2 hours)
Nap 2: 4:30 (1/2 hour -1 1/2 hours)
Bedtime: 8:00

I'm not sure if we should try and get rid of the second nap and go for an earlier bedtime. I don't know if he could make it till bedtime then. The first nap cannot be moved. He's pretty much asleep on his feet before that one.

Any advice would be great. We're struggling over here!

DS is 13 months old.

Until the holidays his schedule was
7am wake up
9:30-11 nap
3:30 - 5 nap
9pm - bedtime

But in january we started some classes which run during his AM nap so we are all over the place.

yesterday he napped at 11:30 and 4:30 for 60-90 minutes each

Today he napped at 1-2:40 and wont nap again...so I am no help.

I am trying to figure out if DS would rather have just 1 nap, but it seems days when we dont run around, he likes his 2 naps so I just go with the flow now!
