10 month old and feeding question
Emma still gets 5 bottles. Her schedule is 7am 6 oz 11am 2pm 6pm 9pm..those are 5 oz.
She also gets her other food too. When did you eliminate and go down to 4 bottles? Which bottle when the time comes should get eliminated?

Re: 10 month old and feeding question
DS is 10mo and as of last week, his schedule was: 7am - 6oz 11am - 8oz 3pm - 8oz 7pm - 6oz
But, 3 out of the 3 bottles he doesn't finish. His 7am bottle and 7pm bottles happen close to breakfast and dinner, so depending on how much he ate, he'll take between 2oz-to the whole 6oz. He pretty much always drinks the entire 11am bottle. But he has been having hardly any of the 3pm bottle. So, as of this week we're eliminating the 3pm bottle and substiuting a sippy and snack to see how that works out. So we're actually going to 3 bottles a day.
Maybe you can try making her midday bottles 8oz instead of 6oz and giving them at like 12 and 4 instead of 11, 2 and 6. She'll let you know when she's ready to have less, but you might be able to eliminate one by giving her more in the others and and extra snack and sippy in the midday stretch.

Re: 10 month old and feeding question
My DD is 9 mos. and is already down to 3 bottles a day--very occasionally, 4. The 3 bottles are 8oz, so it looks like they're getting the same amt. Anyhow, I just read her cues...if she's cranky, I give her a bottle--usually 30 min. past mealtimes. I don't necessarily do it to maintain a schedule.
