10 Year Old Birthday Party Ideas?
Double digits soon so we want to plan something super fun! I'm at a loss though. I checked out Dave & Busters since it's like CEC for older kids, and Nicholas has fun there, but it's $35 a kid  Any ideas?

Robbie's 7th party was at ISA (Interstate Sports Academy) in Sayville. He had a dodgeball party - but they had other sports/games to choose from like.. relay races, catch the flag, etc.. I paid extra to have an inflatable bounce house filled up for the smaller kids and it was a huge hit. They catered in Subway for the kids and adults for lunch and there were a few games and toy cranes and each kid got a cup full of tokens to play with. It was a lot of fun and not terribly expensive. The kids had a fantastic time.
The kids also went to a party at Xtreme InLine in Mt. Sinai and loved it. It's a skateboard/bmx/roller-skate arena. Most kids brought bikes - but a few brought skateboards. They had pizza for supper and all the boys thought it was amazing.

That sounds fun!! But..Nicholas isn't very athetic at all, so I'm not sure if he would enjoy that.
I just came across the Laser Kingdom site and that looks like a fun party. Has anyone done that?

we had Colin's party last year at inline 1 in mt. sinai (skateboard park) and it was great.
there's also that inflatable jump place in ronkonkama
and the indoor go cart place in ronkonkoma
i hear there is an awesome mining place in Bohemia
bowling
the rinx does a cheap party for ice skating.
a swimming party at a hotel
hmmm i'll keep thinking..

My Nicholas didnt want a party this year, and although im alil sad, i thought it would save me some money, but not so much ;)
anyway, were doing a "RockBand" sleepover...
hes getting the game for his birthday and hes inviting 3 of his close friends over for Hibachi at a place near my house and a sleepover...

He seemed to really be into the digging, exploring thing. Do they have some parties at the Aquarium or at the Children Museum?
