10th Day on Stims and Results From My Morning Sono
Hi,
So last night was night 10 of administering my 350 of Gonal F and 75 iu of Menopur--along with Lupron that I am still on.
I am still stimming slowly. I am getting nervous and wondering when too slow =cancel.
They only see two 11mm follies on my left ovary and two vey small ones on my right. What does this all mean? I am so confused. How many eggs can one follie hold? The nurse said they like to see at least 6 follies before retrieval and they only see 4 on me so far and I am at day 10 of stimming. I did contact my doctor over the weekend before today's appointment and he didn't seem to concerned (YET) saying a long as I am progressing...even if it is slow. But how slow is too slow??? Does anyone know? I am waiting for my call back on my E2 level this afternoon. It was 150 on Friday, I am praying for 300 today.
Maybe they will up my Gonal F from 300 to more tonight and that will give my follies the boost they need to grow from the 11mm to over 16mm. Any advice?
Thanks, Keri PS. What happened if u need to order more meds, insurnace cosinderes it like using another cycle no? I am only 4 days left of my Lupron and have only 4 more needles to adminster the Lupron. I am fine on the Gonal F and Menopor though. Should I pay out of pocket to get more Lupron (it ***** I may just be short a few days since my stimming is taking SO LONG) or go through insurance again?

Keri-
It's definately a game of trial and error. Everyone responds SO differently and the key is to find what is going to work for you. Each follie generally contains one egg, although there are times when a follie can be empty. If your e2 is still low, they might boost you up again. You may not be a "slow responder" it just might take a lot more meds to get you to stim. Keep your head up and I'm thinking good thoughts that you start responding soon!
About the Lupron, I would find out how much it is and then decide whether to pay out of pocket or not. If it's under $100 I would probably just do it myself for peace of mind.

The Lupron is about 40.00 per vial....i needed extra as well....be careful though and have your dr, order the MAX dosage allowed per drug per cyclle..because PICA has very interesting ways of viewing a refill...

Hi,
Thanks for replying. What do you mean exactly
"The Lupron is about 40.00 per vial....i needed extra as well....be careful though and have your dr, order the MAX dosage allowed per drug per cyclle..because PICA has very interesting ways of viewing a refill...
When I called Krupner's they told me out of pocket the generic would be $199 FOR ANOTHER KIT (my clinic said I can go generic since I need a few days more). What do u mean/vial?
Did you use Cura Script after one month of using PICA?
