It's a bit early - but lets talk Valentine's Day gifts
what are you getting your SO for V-Day? I want to get something nice for DH this year. looking for ideas

Same here. Maybe go out for dinner but thats about it. We don't buy big gifts. Last year he bought a bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries. YUM.

Probably just go out to dinner. We don't really do anything big for valentines day. We both feel it's just another halmark holiday so we just do dinner and relax together at home, maybe rent a movie

we are going out to a really nice dinner for v-day. not ON v-day b/c it's never the same - but in the few days before or after on an "off night". we don't really get to go out to really high-end dinners that often so we treat ourselves for special occasions and go - i'm thinking 21 main or something like that

We don't do gifts - we make dinner together that night and have a nice night in.
We usually go out to a nice dinner the weekend after.

We will probably go to dinner but my DH wanted me to have head shots taken because he doesn't like the ones from when we got engaged so I am suprising him with new pictures.

we usually don't do any gifts... we usually either go out to a nice dinner, or cook something nice at home and just hang out. he also usually gets me one of those edible arrangements because i LOVE fruit!

Valentine's Day is 4 days before our anniversary. Last year we combined it and went away for a weekend. This year, sleeping late would be enough of a gift for me. As for him? I have no clue.

I'm all out of ideas after Christmas. We're going to see Toby Keith in concert on 2/15, compliments of my company, so he'll love that! We're going to FL at the end of February and I'll probably get him something while we're there. We never go out on 2/14 for dinner, but might this year for a change.

I don't like Valentine's Day!!
I don't like it either. Never have.
Since last year (the ONLY Valentine's Day I will ever be engaged and the only one I was really looking forward to) I missed it b/c I was in China on business, we may do something special. I'm thinking we'll go to Ruth's Chris on a weekend around Valentine's Day for a super-expensive bottle of wine and equally as expensive gluttonous meal. 
We don't exchange gifts or anything, though DH usually gets me flowers and Godiva.  He goes to the Godiva store and gets me an entire box of the chocolate covered caramels - my absolute favorites!

DH and I don't really celebrate Vday. I feel like it's just a "holiday" made up for retail purposes. DH will get me a card and candy like he does every year. I made him stop getting flowers because they just die and are really a waste of money in my eyes. We reserve flowers for our anniversary and maybe my birthday. We will go out to dinner. Maybe we'll go somewhere a little nicer this year since it's our first Vday married.

We also don't do much, usually exchange cards, he gives me something like flowers and I get him a ton of candy. He's a chocoholic. Sometimes we go to dinner or make a nice dinner at home but no big gifts.

We are having a Valentine's Day dinner party (not on the 14th though) at our house with 5 other couples.
We usually don't exchange gifts.

DH will have flowers delivered to me and a Whitman's Sampler but other than that and a nice dinner out - we don't do presents.
It's 9 days after his birthday so he gets enough presents and I don't really need lavish gifts for him to be my Valentine.

DH will most likely get me chocolate truffles and flowers. Since he works close to home he'll probably drop it off during the day so when I come home it'll be on the counter.
I'll get him a card with a bunch of scratch off's.
we dont really do much for valentines day
