11dpiui and scared to test.

Every other cycle, I've gone through 6 tests and drove myself insane by this point. This month, I didn't want to do that to myself so I didn't even buy any tests. I am now 11dp IUI and 13dp trigger. I don't know what I should do! I could have sworn that I was pregnant last month and that was a BFN. This month I don't feel any different except for the fact that I look 4m pregnant already from the meds. I'm having dinner with family tonight and I KNOW someone will ask me... I would prob assume I was too by the way that I look. I am so bloated and it's SO embarassing! Would you test or should I just wait for my beta on Thursday?

it just depends on your will power.
if your family knows what you are going through, they shouldn't be asking you if you are pregnant or not because they know you are going through the IF journey. Don't beat yourself up about being bloated - especially if the end result is so awesome!

I think, if it was me, I would test before Thursday for some peace of mind. Just remember, that if you test too early, you might still get a BFN and your BFP may come a few days later!

personally i couldn't wait until beta ...maybe you should test on Wed? Some people have symptoms and others dont so try not to worry about it until it can be confirmed

I've been sooo good about it and managed to keep myself busy, but I'm cracking. I'm an emotional mess from the progesterone too, so I'm just not myself. My immediate family knows what we are going through, but I haven't really opened up to everyone else. We did that when we were TTC my DS and instead of feeling better for having support, it just added more pressure for some reason. I guess I just needed to vent, so thank you for letting me do that! I still don't know if/when I should test.

For me, I just like to know one way or another. The cycle I held out the longest, I tested the night before the beta. Although, the only reason I held out that long was it was the day of Thanksgiving and I didn't wanna ruin evening for me or dh.

I also figured if it was negative, black friday sales would be a great opportunity to get in some retail therapy.

When is your AF due? For me, I think that would help with the decision.

I'm only 1dpiui but when I'm 11dpiui I think I'd rather just know one way or another. My RE doesn't do betas for IUIs unless I miss my AF.

i actually always hated testing. my DH and I always tested together so after IVF we planned to wait for the beta. then we couldn't figure out how to find out at EXACTLY the same time from the RE, since our schedules were very different. so we decided to test the night before and I got a dark BFP and a decent beta number the next day.
