12 week appointment this morning! (UPDATED with good and not so good news)
Very excited to see the little bean again. My cyst is really starting to cause some pain so hopefully it hasn't grown any so im sure he will look at that too. I will update when i get back. This is my last ultrasound until 18 weeks when i find out the gender!
UPDATE: Baby looks great, moved around a little bit while we were there. Cyst on my left ovary is gone and likely won't come back BUT i have a complete placenta previa fully covering my cervix and if it doesn't move by 25 weeks i have to have a c-section. I had a very low placenta when i was pregnant with DD, close to the cervix but never covered it.
My dilemma: I love my OB, he is familiar with me and it takes alot for me to be comfortable with male doctors. He does not do VBAC's, i asked what they percentage was with uterine rupture with a VBAC and he said it happens in about 1 in 1,000 patients but he said that about contracting a major staph infection from c-section and i was lucky enough to get that, my luck isn't so great. I don't know what i should do. I was thinking of waiting until 25 weeks and seeing if i still have the placenta previa and make a decision then.
Anyway, here is my little bean:

You have so much time for your placenta to migrate! Try not to worry about it right now. Glad to hear the babe looked great!

do you know why your doctor would insist on a c-section with placenta previa at 25 weeks?? theres A LOT Of time even after 25 weeks for it to move. at 12 weeks i wouldnt be entirely concerned with it. its just one of those things you will have to wait out. but glad everything else went well!

don't worry just yet. You still have plenty of time for your placenta to move up! I wouldn't even stress about it yet!!!
Glad everything else went well!!

he said he has not seen many placenta pervia case resolve after 25 weeks.
Im not worried about the placenta previa, i know i have time for it to move my dilemma is with my OB. Do i switch offices? I love my OB but if i stay with him i HAVE to do a c-section because he doesn't do VBAC's at all but if i want to try for a VBAC i have to switch doctor's which i have a trust issue with doctor's, especially ones you have to be so "personal" with. He said i have about a 70% chance of a successful VBAC. Im just not sure what to do.

That is really a tricky situation. If there as no previa I'd say just stick with the doctor you already trust since c-section would be your only option.
Sort of what happened to me. I wanted to VBac. But then found out I was having twins. And while I'm sure I could have searched all of LI for a new OB that would allow me a VBAC I just felt c-section was the way to go.
With the previa, I wonder if there is a percentage of it moving enough to VBac.
If you are going to switch practices, for your own comfort, I'd say the sooner the better.
Sorry I know I'm not much help.
