14 months and starting to wake up screaming at night

I don't know what to do or why he started doing it again...he had been such a good sleeper through the night for a while now but just recently he started waking up a few times at night screaming crying and won't go back to sleep for a while. Also having a hard time putting him down at night. He also screams and cries when he goes down and he never used to do that.

Any ideas? Anyone have this happen?

TIA!!!!!!

Could he be teething at all? My son was a great sleeper until he started to get his 2nd-year molars in. They started coming in fairly early and he was miserable. None of his other teeth had ever really bothered him.

I don't think he's getting the molars just yet...when he's been teething he has his hands and fingers in the sides of his mouth and drools a lot..right now there seems to be a break with that. Ugh. Not sure what it is.
