Just got home... but I'm really not supposed to be here!
I asked if I could at least come home and get my hospital bag!!!!
My check up was routine - no dilation, no effacement, head not down, yada yada - same story each week... I told her about the reduced fetal movement, she said - lets put you on the fetal monitor and see what going on....
baby was moving, but she noticed some mild contractions, decides to check the fluid...
And thats when she saw I had only a small pocket of fluid left!!!!!
She was like - I should have checked this 1st (at this point I have been there for 2 hours!)
So, she told me she couldnt let me go home - I had to go straight to the hospital.. I'm like - but my hospital bag!! My cord blood collection box!!! My stuff!!!
She told me since I live close by, I could get my bag.... My dad is going to drive me to the hospital so DH doesnt have to worry about the extra car - I am waiting for him to come get me now... DH is coming home from the city...
so, I'm being given the cervadil tonight, and then will receive the pitocin tomorrow morning... So, this is it ladies!!!
There are no words to tell you all how amazing and valuable you all have been to me!!!
OK - my dad is here- wish me luck!!!!!
