bring your interest statement from your buy. Your mortgage satisfaction paperwork if you have it yet. Sometimes that takes a while.

you should get a 1099 mortgage statement for the interest expense you paid. also this statement might have the real estate taxes paid on it. also if you sold a house that you lived in for 2 out of 5 years you and your spouse get 250,000 exempt from the sales - cost.

Just found both my statements from the co-op I sold and the house we bought. DH threw it in a pile on the counter and I never went through it
