Is that strange? I don't feel anything. I read by now you should feel flutters, movement etc. I'm starting to get worried, I still have 2 weeks til my next appointment. Anyone else not feel anything at 18 weeks?

Same here. I just started feeling these tiny bubbles, but it's not at all consistent. I didn't feel it all weekend--probably because I was constantly on the go. I feel them a lot on my train commute home when I'm sitting still for a full hour. But if I wasn't paying attention, I could easily miss them, or mistake them for gas.

i felt movement once around 18 weeks and then literally not again until a week ago (22 weeks) and now its all the time

i agree with everyone that posted that at first its hard to figure out what it is- it kind of felt like gas lol

I felt flutters briefly around 16-18 wks, off and on. Lately the past week though I haven't felt anything.

I read that a lot of women do not feel anything till 20 + wks. I wouldn't worry.

They say OJ gets the baby moving. So yesterday I was getting nervous....drank some OJ and I felt a little flutters. Try that!

Re: 18 weeks not feeling baby yet

I started feeling them right around 17 -18 weeks and when I told my Dr. she said that was pretty early and that usually its around 20-24 weeks.. but of course everyone is different! I wouldn't worry

Re: 18 weeks not feeling baby yet

The first time I felt the baby was the first day of my 19th week. Now at 22 weeks, this baby goes crazy! Don't worry, it will happen!! Chat Icon
