I am so upset. We just moved and I am living in insurance NIGHTMARE!
I haven't been able to get in to see the doctor since 11 weeks, and am today 19 weeks and 2 days Dr. don't care about anything other than insurance.. won't even bill ME so I can make sure to get my checkups.

I would head straight for a county clinic. Through work I know almost all the social workers at all the Suffolk clinics and they are awesome and you will get very good care!

The funny thing is, I have insurance starting July 1st.. BUT it takes time to 'update their STUPID records!!!.
So doctors won't take me because they can't 'validate' i have insurance.

Push the insurance company to provide some proof and say that you are pregnant whenever you call. Threaten to call the media. Missing the time from 11-19 weeks, you probably missed some tests that are time sensitive.

Im pretty sure that you could go to a Planned Parenthood and pay on a sliding scale. I know its not ideal, but its better than having no prenatal care for a long time.
