1st b-day party in July- Park/Pavillion ideas/suggestions anyone?
ok, we are having dd's much belated christening this weekend, and that, thank god is finally all set! now, i am starting to think about ideas for her 1st b-day party in July. I will probably be having about 35-40 people, and dont really want to do a bqq at my house, just not enough room! i am thinking of having it at a beach or park someplace that has a pavillion/covered area for shade in case it rains(with my luck it will!) where we can bbq, bring food, with picnic tables, and the older kids will have plenty of room to run around, one w/a playground would be great. i dont want to go to one where u have to use their catering, or one that i wont be able to reserve if not a town resident. i am in south shore nassau, but i am open to hearing all suggestions/ideas in nassau/suffolk, north or south shore,as long as it isnt too far out in suffok, i love the crab meadow beach in northport, i saw that when i ate at the la casa restaurant last year, but i have no clue if a no resident can reserve that, so anything like that, i would love to hear about, and please, if u have any info on how to reservem and or/prices for permits, and any reviews on any parks where u had parties or been to, please post or fm me.
