We did a Disney Princess theme for DD's 1st. For her 2nd, we're doing Dora. DW is making Mexican-themed food to coordinate with the theme.

Pink and white.. and lots of Candy and apothocary jars with Candy.. pink and white tulle with white lights
big pink bows on the chairs..

for sure
She needs a fancy white onesie with a rhinestone #1 and a pink tutu....i want a girl now!!!

She just had her daughters communion and my family went - they could not believe the amazing things she did!

Theresa, I am doing a Royal princess theme for Ella first birthday party. It will have the lights and the tulle as well.
I did post the dress for her party the one that you loved.

First I can't beleive you are planning her first birthday already!! 
My cousin did a candy land theme for her daughters 5th birthday, it was so cool. She decorated her long driveway with props, large lolly pops, candy in the trees etc. Then inside the house she had a large foam gingerbread house in her living room with a candy land board for hte kids to play and they all got bags to fill with candy as they passed the certain "characters" on the board.
The favors were all candy land themed as well for hte kids I think they land coloring books and whistles shaped like candies, etc. The adults got a gingerbread ornament with my cousins picture. They had a chocolate fountain in the kitchen as well!
I will have to see if we have some pics! My cousin always goes nuts and this was no exception!

ETA: For DD's christening, I am thinking of using wire cinderella carriages as part of her CP..they are adorable!

We did winnie the pooh for DS. This year we are doing a playhouse disney theme since his favorite shows are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, my friends tigger and pooh, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins and the Doodlebops.
