1st bday themes
I need help with DS's first bday. I have NO IDEA what theme to go with. Can anyone throw some ideas my way please? Characters are out because he doesn't watch tv. TIA!

We are doing an owl theme because DD is not into TV shows." Look Whoo's Turning 1" Party
Buying some stuff from 1st wishes.com (owl pinata and party balloons etc..) Comes in pink and blue so it can be used for boys or girls.

we are keeping it simple  bold colors (royal blue, orange, red and bright green) and the number 1!
everything will be in these colors, balloons, favors, all paper goods and #1's all over

We're doing a construction theme. One of the boys' favotire toys is a big dump truck. That's what we're going with.
What are your DS's favorite toys? Maybe use one of them to come up w/ a theme?

i did a fireman theme and had it in a fire house. i loved it. and the kids took pictures on the truck after.

ds doesn't watch much tv either, but he's obsessed with trains, cars, helicopters, which we see in our urban landscape, so I did trasport theme cake, some other accents.
Someone told me to get characters anyway, and said yo gaba would be a hit with the other kids so I did that, got the green fuzzy one. It was a hit.
