1st Beta very early very low

I just had my IVF transfer on Thursday 6/21 I went yesterday for my first beta it was 1.5 so thats a negative. My Dr said this is very early and he usually never tells his patience the first results because they are usually low. Has anyone ever heard of such a low beta and then they ended up pregnant. I need some help here. I am going crazy. This is my 2nd IVF and the first one had the same result the first blood test and ended up negative. Please anyone with any info. Thanks so much

My RE says anything under a 5 is a negative.

I wish I could say be hopeful, but I will be 100% honest and say I dont think its a positive.

9 days after transfer is pretty early, but that # is pretty low. I would prepare yourself for the worst, but hope for the best.

The number is supposed to double every 48 hours , so at this rate by 14dpt you would be at like 7, still very low

Thanks for the response ladies I have a feeling that it will be negative also. Even though it was only 8 days after the transfer. I wish I would have asked him if he has ever seen a situation go up from such a low start. the only thing that could be is if the implantation happened very late. But I am expecting a negative. My second beta is on Tuesday 7/3 I dont even think I should go.

you should definatley go. You never know, most people dont get tested so early. Anything could happen

Hi again Thanks for all of your warm wishes and support. I guess I have to go because I am still getting the progesterone shots and taking suppositories with estrogen and progesterone. So I cant stop unless he tells me I def not . But I already think I know. I wish I could hear one story of this happening and ending with a bfp. I am feeling so sad. This was my last try. Got the meds donated but paid out of pocket for the procedure. We are done as far as finances 2x was a killer. I wish I had some hope. But I am afraid o hope. This is really sick
