1st Birthday Parties
For those of you who are planning or have planned a 1st birthday party, what did you do? I am having trouble figuring out what to do for Nick's bday - he will be 1 in September. I live in a townhouse, so I do not have a large enough yard to have it there...and there is no clubhouse building to have it in either. I checked Gymboree, but I am not sure...I have never been to party there and they told me it is only 1 1/2 hours long...anyone ever been to a party there? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: 1st Birthday Parties
Gymboree is fun, but try My Gym, we just joined and it is much more stimulating than Gymboree ( we have went to Gymboree for years). Most parties are only an hour and half, even when they are 5 or 6 years old. You'll see , it is plenty of time!

Re: 1st Birthday Parties
you dont want a party to long an hour an hour and a half is perfect for their age. You really have to see how many kids you are inviting and the ages of them. Sometimes a small BBQ is perfect. Do you want to go all out since it is the 1st bday?
Right now I am in the process of planning my sons 5th bday for the 23rd. I am going with a candyland theme. I am in doing it in my backyard there is not much room but it would be comfortable for the amount of people we are having.
