1st Birthday Party - Cupcake Stand
Did anyone do a cupcake stand at your DC party? I am planning on getting floral cupcakes for Ella's party as well.
If you did have a cupcake stand did the kids enjoyed it or do you think it was a waste?

The thing she is getting a birthday cake and I am planning on doing a cupcake stand for the kids as well. I don't know if this is too much or not.

I made Lily's cake out of cupcakes for her party because I love cupcakes...and so does she. I didn't use a stand though, because I formed the cupcakes into flowers.
I have used a stand in the past though, for other everts, and they looked adorable!

I bought a Wilton stand off of e-bay so I could use it over and over. It's a 6 tier one and you can change the amount of tiers that you'd like to use. I am going to use it for Jared's birthday next year. Cupcakes are so easy for little fingers.

The kids will love it! We had one for DD's birthday and the kids were able to get them themselves which is what I think they liked.

I am going to do them in whatever theme I figure out doing..
one of my best friends is a pastry chef so she is going to make the cupcakes for me :)

The last few parties I have been to all had cupcakes. One party had reg. sized and mini flower decorated cupcakes. I wish I had a photo because they were gorgeous.
They were a huge hit and in the stands they looked great.

They sell those stands at AC Moore and you could use their coupon. They normally have a 40% and 50% coupon available.

I made a cake for DS' party and also cupcakes for the kids. I made a lot of cupcakes because I knew the adults would eat them too -- and the did! They all said eating cupcakes make you feel like a kid!

I was thinking about doing a cupcake "cake"
Lining all the cupcakes into a rectangle and icing the whole top so it looks like a cake, then you just pull the cupcakes apart, no cake slicing!
I dunno, just a thought
