1st Brithday party venues in Nassau
We are having his birthday party the Saturday before Xmas, so I need a space that the size is flexible. Any suggestions?

See that's the thing. I have NO idea. When I planned his Christening I chose a place that maxed at about 75 pp, bc I thought my DH's out of town families would not attend (125 people ended up coming). Now with the holidays the week before, I feel like NO ONE is going to come, so I don't want to book a HUGE place with no turnout.
I am open to towns, would love a room w a bar and a place for kids to dance.

im having a firehouse theme and having it at the Vulcan Firehouse in Lynbrook. it holds up to 100 people and $450 to rent the room for 4 hours.

Re: 1st Brithday party venues in Nassau
I just booked the American Legion is Seaford for DS's 1st bday. We hope to have about 80 adults and 25 kids. I saw the room set up for 120 and there still plenty of room for movement. It is recently renovated and has a 18X20 dance floor, new bathrooms, a kitchen, a bar, a coat check and nice high ceilings. It's very plain looking and simple, but very nice. There is no memorabilia hanging on the wall (which you do sometimes find in these type of places). I checked out a couple of other halls, but this one was def the best.

Jonathan's in Garden City (I think that's the town, on Jericho Turn) has a nice party room...
