1st grade supply list help!
We got Emily's supply list yesterday. Everything on it is self explanatory and basic, except one item.
2 Primary Pads
*** is that?

Re: 1st grade supply list help!
I'm going to guess that it's lined paper for writing... with the dashed line in the middle. I know I've seen them before. Maybe it's just a pad or maybe in notebook form.

Re: 1st grade supply list help!
I'm pretty sure those are regular writing tablets/pad - but ruled for primary school instead of college ruled.
When in doubt I just go to Island School & Art Supply in Oakdale and ask them!

Re: 1st grade supply list help!
That ones new to me.
I googled it but came up with a web-based interactive, real time learning tool for teachers & students.
I would call the school & ask.

Lakeshore has THESE
and THESE I would assume that's what they are leaning toward.

Re: 1st grade supply list help!
I was in Target in Levittown and saw the primary pads/notebooks. It was in the regular school supply aisle, not the seasonal one. Hope this helps.

Re: 1st grade supply list help!
Thanks all. I bought what I believe it is in Staples. It was a 1st grade primary tablet. We'll find out for sure in September I guess!

Re: 1st grade supply list help!
I believe they are the marble notebooks that have a space on top for drawing and lined for writing under the picture. Yep, Staples is where I got mine last year.

Re: 1st grade supply list help!
My DD used the comp booksl with the blank top half last year in K, I've heard them called primary composition books but not primary tablets. If you are wrong and need the comp books, Staples was the only place I could find them.
Now my DD's supply list is asking for folders of specific solid colors including a white one. Where the hell do you get a white folder???
