1st Internal and bleeding TMI
Just curious if anyone else had there first internal exam and had that strep culture done - If so did anyone bleed at all afterwards????

YES - so much so that my doc showed me the glove so that I would be prepared for when i went to the bathroom....if she hadn't - i likely would've passed out in the bathroom...it was THAT bad.
some people just have sensitive cervixs' sweety!!!!
eta: this was at my first appointment - when i had the pap done and then at 24 weeks or so - i had to have the speculum done again for more testing and same thing....mucho blood...

THANK YOU..... I am sorry you had to go through that but you made me feel better... I did call the dr office and they said its OK just to stay off my feet but being on bedrest thats all i can do....
Anyway - I will sleepbetter tonite...

NO problem. it freaked me out like i can't possibly explain - but once the doc told me that sometimes people are just sensitive....it helped me mentally! it is one of the reasons i'm DREADING the 'end of pregnancy' internals...

I had one today no bleeding but how much did it hurt--OMG!!! I was dying, cant wait for the next one :(
