TMI question about your 1st period after birth?

I am in so much pain and think that I am getting my first period pp. The cramps are so bad that I feel nauseous and can barely stand up straight. I'm pretty sure these are period cramps. Is this normal and what can I do to help stop them.

I got mine for the first time the other day. Although I didnt have cramps, my back was sooooooo bad! Also, not to be gross but the flow is unreal! I thought maybe people who had their babies vaginally would get it worse but I had c section and its probably the worst I have had it in years! I am now on my 4th day and it hasnt even slowed down. But for me, this is wonderful since I wasnt getting many at all for the past 3 years. So I hope it stays this way..I would call and ask about the cramps..although I have heard many women say the same thing.
