1st mo TTC - would you wait for AF or test?

This is my first month TTC. I am due to get AF next week. I am so wanting to test already.

Did anyone test the first month before AF? Or is that being crazy?

whats the earliest you should test before your expected AF date?

let me add that i really have no idea of my cycles- first month off pill.

testing a week before AF is too early IMO..

if you want to test.. take it a day or 2 before AF is supposed to arrive.. with a FRER! (more sensitive tests)

I didn't test the first month of bcp because as much as I thought I had 28 day cycle's - I really wasn't sure.

I did test probably almost every month after the first though. I'm terrible with waiting.

that said - I guess do whatever you are comfortable with. I usually test the day before or the day AF is due. This way I know to expect her...
