1st Month Off Pill - Ovulating Q...
This is my first month off the pill and I my PD started on 12/26. I tested (yesterday on CD 14 but not with FMU)and BFN...even though I am technically CD 15, is it possible for me to be ovulating now??? I think I have the EWCM (and have not noticed it yet this month before yesterday).
I guess my question is when you first go off the pill, can you have delayed ovulation?
TIA!!!!

Re: 1st Month Off Pill - Ovulating Q...
Hmmm not sure I understnad this question. You should use OPK's between 12-8PM. Pregnancy tests should be used with FMU. If the first day of your last AF was 12/26 you are on CD 30. So no you probably wouldn't be ovulating now. I think you are a bit confused. Do you understand how this all works?

Re: 1st Month Off Pill - Ovulating Q...
You probably think I am an idiot....Sorry! I am new to thsi but I do know that you are supposed to test with FMU, I didn't...and I confused CD with DPO - I am 15 DPO...and CD 30...
I didn't use OPKs this month...I wanted to rty one month on our own...I guess I was just wondering if it is possibel fo rme to ovulate this late? Although it may not be "late" b/c I am just coming off the pill...Does that make more sense?

Re: 1st Month Off Pill - Ovulating Q...
sometimes your body needs to adjust after being on the pill.
I came off the pill at the end of august. Had my first natural AF in October, which made my cycle 35 days. I thought I O'd around CD12, but apparently didn't, and then AF took a permanent vacation. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with PCOS (not saying that's your case!) and needed to take Provera to get AF and then Clomid to Ovulate (I'm still waiting to O, on CD16). It's entirely possible it can take your body a couple of months to adjust.

After coming off the pill, it took over 70 days for me to get AF for the first time. Since then my cycles have been irregular ranging from 32-42 days. If you have EWCM, you might be ovulating soon, so BD!!! I always thought I would just try without putting in much effort (like charting, opks) but because of my long irregular cycles I thought charting really helped me to understand what was going on with my body. I was afraid that I was possibly not ovulating, but charting confirmed that I was indeed ovulating. And now that I have been trying for 7 months it is good to have the records of my cycle to show the dr. I highly recommend charting! Good Luck to you
