1st night in his big boy bed
So my dh brought home Jared a full size bed from work (Sleepy's) with railings that he bought at BRU. Jared was so excited! When it came time for bed he was NOT into it. As I'm typing I can still hear him moving around on the bed...so he's not totally asleep and it's about 10:50. I sat outside his room and slowly moved away from the door. Everytime he got out of bed, I'd put him back without saying a word. I guess I can thank supernanny for this one...

I hope he falls asleep soon. Is this the age they normally go into a bed? Sidney is 19 months and it never occured to me to consider a bed for her. I don't think I'M ready for it

Yay!!! He's asleep! Congrats! I just read your other post about him falling out of the crib. Soooo scary. I'm so afraid of that.

So how did the rest of the night go???? What time did he wake up? What happened when he woke up?
I am of course hoping that he got up, went downstairs, put a pot of coffee on, made himself a cup (light and sweet of course) and watched cartoons while you and your husband had a lie in until noon....

Sounds like it went well... We had a good tranistion here too, but we ended up putting up a tension gate in his door frame too. Helps in case he gets up to wander at night.

Well it is 9:40am...he is still sleeping, didn't wake up at all last night and NEEDS to get up by 10 because I'm having my rooms measured for carpeting.
Racheeee, I wish he'd get up and make some coffee... and let me and my dh rest for that long...
