1st Sono tomorrow
So the girl on the phone told me to start drinking 32 oz of water about an hr and a half before I come. I never had to do this with Kara just with Nikolas' which was 9 yrs ago.
I remember it being torture. Does anyone have any tips? Do you really think I need to drink that much?
I am so excited about tomorrow! I think I am about 7 weeks and a few days. What do you think we are going to see? Heartbeat? A dot?

I wasn't required to drink any water before going for my first sono. I wouldn't get crazy if I were you. It's likely that you will see a bean with a heartbeat.

maybe because they are going to try and do an external?? Before pregnancy - i had a few sonograms for various reasons (cysts, gall bladder issues, etc)...and i always had to have a full bladder...
everyone is different in what they'll see - but please, try to remember that your pregnancy is being dated to your LMP (last menstrual period)...and that does not take into effect that you could've ovulated late... For me - that is what happened....they thought i was farther along than i was, so i was very freaked out, early on...so please, do NOT panic...no matter what!!!!!!

yeah, well the doc did blood work last week and my #'s are doubling fine so their is nothing to worry about he says. He better be telling the truth..LOL
I'm a late ovulater with a short LP if that matters. I don't know when this pregnancy happened as it wasn't planned but I remember with my daughter I had my 1st sono at the docs office and he did an internal early on and saw a heart beat. I was either 6 weeks 5 days or 5 weeks 6 days. I'd have to find the picture.
I was advised to go to another office tomorrow because the sono tech isn't going to be in my OB's office for the rest of the week and he wants to get it done before my appt.
