2 diff due dates

My LMP was May 31, but I am not a 28 day cycle, so according to my Dr. My due date is 3/8, but then I got a sono and they said my due date was 3/13 ( i think this is more accurate) When I saw my Dr. again, he said that since it was so close we will keep the first due date (march 8)???? I don't really understand why, but whatever, so what would you say when people your due dat was, like when I get my ultra screen, and they ask, what do i say?

My last LMP was Nov 30. I know that for a fact because I had a m/c on Oct 20 so I made sure to mark when AF showed. My cycles are not normal. 40 weeks from Nov 30 is Sept 5.

When I went for my first sono the sono showed Sept 14 as my due date and the doctor at first kept asking me if I was positive about my LMP. I assured him I was b/c of the m/c but my cycles are not normal. So the doctor documented Sept 14 as my due date since that is what was shown on the first sono.

I had a sono in April which was done with a specialist who said the first sono was wrong. I am absolutely correct and on schedule for Sept 5 as a due date. She sent all her info to my doctor and he said that since it's a week difference (technically 9 days) he wasnt changing the date and was sticking to what the first sono showed because that is what will be the most accurate.

I basically tell people my due date is early september. To me due dates dont really mean anything. I know so many girls that have gone way before their due dates. So when meatball wants to make his appearance he will. I just figure I shouldnt make any plans for early September

Same thing happened to me, but since we conceived my first cycle off the pill, my OB said I must have ovulated late, so going by my LMP would be innacurate. She went by my first sono..that changed by 2 or 3 days for each one, but she stuck with the first date.

But I agree with pp, to me due dates are meaningless as no one I know actually seemed to deliver on that exact day, it just gives you a good idea around when it will happen.

My doc did the same thing. According to my LMP, my due date is 12/8/08 (a Monday), but based my first sono, the baby was measuring 3 days ahead, so the due date would really be 12/5/08 (a Friday), but the doc said since it is so close, he was not gong to change the due date on my paperwork.

ETA: ITA with the pp. the due date is just an estimate. I would not worry about it too much. When people ask I usually just say december, I don't give the actual date. But I have found that most people will ask the date because they want to know if it will around xmas. So now I just say I am due early December.

My LMP was 3/12 and my original EDD was 12/18 or 12/19. At my first sono, the baby was measuring 1 week behind so they changed my EDD to 12/25. Since then, the baby has been meausring 1 week ahead, but my EDD is still 12/25. That's the date I've been using.

ETA: I had irregular cycles before the pill and got pregnant the first month after I stopped taking them. I was pretty sure I ovulated 1 week late. I got my first very faint line 4.5 weeks after my LMP.

i am pretty sure that if i went by my LMP my due date would be 9/10/08, but i went by my first sono, at which time the dr gave me a due date of 9/8/08 which makes more sense to be since i have short cycles.
