2 Months to schedule an annual pap?!
I called my OBGYN, and the first available is 4/26? WTH?
Just needed to let it out.

Wow, that's ridiculous! I was just thinking about calling mine, as I am long overdue. With all the RE appointments, I had been avoiding making one with my obgyn that might interfere. I'm hoping that I can get one while I'm on my break, but mine usually has a long wait too.

I kept pushing it off for the same reason, that and they make you wait like 45 mins before they even take your blood pressure. I am so spolied by my RE's office; if my appt is at 7:30, I am in the room half naked by 7:40. I also wanted to see if I can get one in before AF comes, because we start IVF next cycle.

wow, that does like a long time. I can usually get an appt. within a week or two. If I get to my appt. early (15 min), I can be out no more than 10 min after my actualy appt. time. I can see why you must be frustrated!

With my doctor you usally have to schedule a pap a month or so out. But I called them last week and told them that my RE need one done asap (before I could start IVF) and they fit me in today.

My RE actually did a pap to make things a little easier for me. At my gyn office I usually wait 2 hours - totally ridic!!! You most likely will need to have a pap before you start IVF - I believe it has to been within the past year at most RE offices. GL!

Maybe your RE will do it for you. I need a pap before starting my FET and my RE said she would do it during my next appointment.
