2 part question about beta and pregnancy

i am just curious..

why do they vary so much,beta's..why is someone's first 60 and someone else 150..i feel like i have seen this and they both had singular pregnancies

why can they vary so much!


second and excuse me if i am a dummy...i have been trying to figure out how pregnant i am..i did 2 due date things online and got dec 15th and dec 29th...i think the 29th is wrong lol

if my retrieval was 3/19 and transfer was 3/24 how pregnant am i lol

I have no idea, but I've been wondering the same thing! Why was my first beta 190+ with my DS and only 65 this time? Am I less pregnant? LOL It varies so much by person and pregnancies that it's really messing with me! There's really no way to know.. it's just a waiting game and as long as our numbers rise, then that's a great sign. It's easeier said than done, but I will be spending Easter in stressful beta hell...

Thats a good questions... my first guess would be when implantation occurs, but thats probably only part of it.

As far as your EDD. I believe since ER is consider Ovulation date i would go by that.

i have no clue... my first beta was 323 and I have a singleton pregnancy!

I have no clue but good question! My first was only 79 but I have twins. But my second did nearly triple short of 7 points so it could have just caught up later.

I did my due date on some site I googled "due date calculator ivf" and they had me put in my er date. My re dr had my dd as and day later though!?

I wish betas gave us more insight in what's going on. The ranges are soooo huge you can have low #s and have twins but then have high #s and only have one.

I used an online due date calculator for ivf, it used the date of ER to calculate....my due date is nov 28th according to it!

I really have no idea. My first beta was dd was 278 and my first beta this pg was only 80. I have no idea why they are so different. As far as finding out the due date there are due date calendars based on the day of conception.
