Re: 2 under 2 moms
My two boys were suppose to be a year & a day apart but then my youngest made his arrival 8 weeks early making them just 10.5 months apart. #2 was not planned & considering I did ivf for #1 this was a blessing. I cried when I found out I was pregnant bc I knew my time with #1 would be limited.
It is extremely difficult at times & I think twins would be easier. DS #1 was just newly crAwling when #2 came home. Now that #1 is 1 & #2 will be 2 in 3 weeks, it is nice. They are constantly playing together & getting into trouble together. There are times when i think #2 feels he was pushed to the side when #1 came home & I think that is a basis for jealousy.
Looking back, I would not change it but it definitely cured me of wanting #3.

Re: 2 under 2 moms
2 under 2 here - it was hard in the beginning but I love that they are so close now, they chase each other and snuggle and it's adorable.
I wouldn't do it again though, for me it was very stressful having to take care of a young toddler and a newborn, since my son was so dependent on me when DD came (he was 18 months old).

Re: 2 under 2 moms
I am pregnant with #1 now.We have already discussed #2 and I want to have a 2nd right away. I am 38 and DH is 41, so time is not on our side either. But I would rather do everything all at once then get done with one and start over. As a side note, my brother and I are 16 yrs apart. Mom really had to start all over. He and I are very close, but growing up I always wished I had a sibling.

Re: 2 under 2 moms
my dc are older now, but i was a 2 under 2 mom. 20 months apart to the day. I didnt find it difficult at all. and im a person who had ZERO baby experience till i had my own. They were both in diapers, both on bottles, i was still sleepless, had all the baby essentials i needed from dc#1, i was still in the baby groove. I, jmo, would find the transition from an older child to a newborn much much harder then the 2 under 2 situation. :)
