2 weeks and counting

Alright girls. All of you that are due within the next 2 weeks, what are we doing?

We have the full moon tomorrow which hopefully will kick start labor for some of us.

- I tried pineapple last week, but that just put me into false labor.
- Eggplant parm for dinner last week: nada
- walked 2 miles outside yesterday: nothing ( well besides tone of pressure in the vagina all last night but led to nothing)
- BEGGING DH to Chat Icon tonight AND tomorrow night so we can fully embrace all that the full moon has to offer.

Also, where is everyone planning on delivering? I'm hoping for South Nassau. I was there last week for my "false labor" and I loved it

Not really doing much... just continuing life as normal. Don't really put much stock into those old wives tales, lol. I figure when she's ready she's ready, although I'd like her out sooner rather than later!

I'll be delivering at St. Charles.

Re: 2 weeks and counting

I hear you!!! My countdown says 10 more days and even though that's not far away, I can't imagine being pregnant that much longer. lol. Hoping & praying the Full Moon does something for me Chat Icon

Basically this week I've been:

- walking a lot (which I haven't been able to do much of this pregnancy). It definitely adds pressure down there, but not sure if much else.

- ate spicey food (did nothing, but give me horrid heartburn)

- squats is a biggy

- sex, but not every day because let's be honest, i just don't have the energy. lol.

Everybody keeps telling me to drink the gross Caster Oil, but I'm kinda waiting on that. I would have to be desperate (past my due date). Chat Icon

Here's my labor vibes for all of us in the last 2 weeks. May the full moon help us all out Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

lol! I originally asked DH to do it tomorrow night but now I want to do it tonight too. He is sooo freaked out! Last week during an internal the Dr said she could feel the head, so now he is so afraid of it.

I told him I hope a hand doesn't reach out and grab him lol. I don't think that helped.

We decided not to wait Chat Icon We usually are so tired by the end of the day that we just go to sleep.
What helps if he's weirded out, at least for us, is in the style of the canine Chat Icon. He can't see my huge stomach and there's no pressure or touching on my belly.

Having them being weirded out could work to your advantage - it won't last long Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: 2 weeks and counting

Tomorrow I am officially 38 weeks too. I have 2 boys and neither made it to 38 weeks so it will be a 1st for me. I am had been praying to keep this baby in for at least 38-39 weeks and so far looking good. I have construction going on here and could use at least one more week. I have contractions all day long on and off, I am 3cm, at 36 weeks had contractions every 5 minutes for almost the whole day, lost my mucous plug over a week ago and baby is very low but so far the baby has stayed put. I am super active between this construction and having 2 boys - hey was ven kicking the soccer ball and carrying my 38 lb 3.5 yr old over the monkey bars today. Have lots of pressure and pains and nausea but hanging in there just not moving as fast as I was a few weeks ago.

oh - and I am South Nassau too...had both my sons there and going back there for #3.
