2 year molars at 14 months?

Has anyone else's DC gotten them this early? The poor child has all 4 bicuspids coming in, but I suspect his molars are coming in too. He has his fingers ALL the way in the back of his mouth, is a drool factory, doesn't have much of an appetite (and this kid normally loves to eat) and is sooooo cranky.

How long should I expect the crankiness to continue if it is the molars?

I don't know how long it would last, but it doesn't seem too early from what I've heard.

DD's came in around 17 months-she handled it great though-just occasional teething tablets and motrin or tylenol.

Good luck!

The second set. Chat Icon Chat Icon He already has the first set, but only got them about 6 weeks to 2 months ago, that's why I thought it was early for the 2nd set.

DD started to get her 2 yr. molars at around 17-18 months. She had her fingers in her mouth all the time. I think she has at least 2, the 3rd is popping through now @ 21 months.
