BFing 8 months to 1 year...how often?
I only BF DS until 8 months, but with DD I'm hoping to make it to 1 year. Right now she's 8 months and I'm BFing usually 4x a day. Does that sound right? Should it get less as she eating more solids? She LOVES food, but I feel like she should still be getting mostly BM...is that right?

DS is 10.5 months and that sounds right to me (4x/day)

I feel like days I'm home I'm still BF Ryan every 2 hrs.
When I'm at work he nurses a.m. & p.m. and gets 4 bottles.
When I'm home it's more like 7-8x/day - maybe he's taking less each time when I'm around?
ETS: Ryan is 8.5 months.

DS is 9 months and he bfs around 8 times a day. He has 2 meals (of solids) a day

Thanks for sharing! I guess I'll stick with 4x a day, I can handle that. But 8x a day... I don't know how you guys do it!

stay with 4 a day. believe me. At 13 mos I had to admit to dr that mine was on an average of 11 times a day. IT was too much for the both of us. He hated solids.

We went down to 4x a day right around 8.5 mos and she did not lose another feeding until about 10.5 mos.
