Okay...those who are interested please FM me your name, address and types of animals.
Post on this thread your animals and what their likes/dislikes are as well as what types of toys or treats they like and have.

I think we should do a household type thing so it doesn't get too expensive. So, if you have three cats - you will get a gift from one person for all three cats.

I will send out a FM on November 1st to anyone who is participating with the name and address of their "giftees". So, you have until October 31 to decide if you want to do it and send my your info.

Gift max is $15 plus shipping.
Please make sure to mail out your gift on or before December 8th so the puppy/kitty has it before Christmas!

I'm obviously in so here are my "animals!"

Miso the Cat: Approx 1 year old Manx (stubby tail) who loves to eat and play. He is a total mush ball and love DaBird. He likes to swat at things and jump up. He is totally uncooridinated and is completely goofy. Catnip does not appear to phase him in the least.

Sushi the Cat: 2 year old kitty who is very sad by our Miso addition. She has been getting very neglected since when we start to play with her, Miso jumps in and she wants nothing to do with sharing play time with him. She loves to chase balls and is more of a stalker. Playing with her requires patience as you need to wait for her to pounce.

Both kitties like treats but prefer crunch fish flavored ones (however, Miso will eat anything

Junior - 2 year old pit mix... think he's mostly boxer and great dane LOL. He's a big mush...last year it took him 2 days to get past our Christmas tree when we set it up LOL. He loves to chew things...he tries to get into the babies things, but now knows not to. He likes anything that he can chew and chew and chew... for a loong time. He has this one bone that we're still trying to find another one of that he hasn't yet been able to break!
He just lost his first brother, our Kitty Buddy 2 months ago, so he is still sorta 'down', and looking around for him. Def a Daddys boy tho.. only likes his momma when daddy is busy. Can I include a pic too?? LOL. Ok great! LOL

(Dog) Petunia is my 6/12 year old pug. She likes all kinds of toys that have squeaky things in it so that she can chew them apart and find the squeaky thing unless it's her favorite because then she will cherish it and sleep with it. As far as food treats, she is selective. She does not like any type of bones or harder type treats. She eats vitakraft treats, Pupperoni, Greenies for bedtime (she thinks it's her toothbrush),snausages and treats like that.

(Rabbit) Jefferson is our approximately 3 or 4 year old rabbit (we adopted him so we are unsure of his age). He loves his chew toys and yogurt covered hay treats. He also likes rice and veggie puffs, Vitakraft yogurt treats, papaya,banana. He's a good boy and will eat just about anything appropriate for a rabbit.

Casey (Pit bull) - She is a HUGE mush ball. When we go on our morning walks she always has to stop when people walk by and give them her pit bull smile and wags her tail a mile a minute. When people see her they usually cross the street or move very far away from her. When people do say Hi she gives them a BIG hug and slobbery kisses. Her hobbies are finding random balls on the street.

She loves her raw hide bones, all dog treats and there is nothing she wont eat. She is obsessed with balls and we have not been able to find one she cannot chew through.

Ozzy (cat)- Ozzy is a crazy kitty. He seems to have so much energy. His hobbies are sitting in boxes, jumping in bags and knocking stuff off the counter so he can share food with Casey. He is not your usual kitty, he thinks hes a dog. He wants to go on walks but we don't have a harness for him. He is always trying to eat dog food and loves treats. He is the trouble maker of the family.

My dogs name is Furlee (from MR Furley on Three's company)....
he is a 3 year old havanese shih tzu mix. he loves loves loves balls and stuffed animals that squeak. his favorite toy is a petco frog that squeaks... he also loves any of my 2 year olds toys like legos and block but gets in trouble when he chews them up. he is black and white and is going to be an angel for halloween while my son is gonna be a devil! yes i love my pup like a kid!!!

so excited for this fun swap!

Totally in....
Misty is our doggie - 60lb weimeraner who thinks she is one of us. Loves to chew bones and stuffed animals (especially with squeakers cuz then she can perform surgery), but doesn't get rawhide. Likes her "cookies" too and will do almost anything for one.

Espresso is our cat - he loves feathery, flying things and those crinkly balls. He is another treat-hog...he's all about yummy snacks. He does not go outside so no leashes or collars for him.

Achilles is a dashund/shihtzu mix. He's a tiny little dog with jaws of steel so we have to buy him toys meant for rotweilers or dobermans. In the near two years we've had him he's gone though 30+ toys and 6 beds, but fortunately he's never checked any furniture or anything in the house. He simply destroys dog toys.

He loves his barbell and stuffingless toys, he had a loofah dogs for 1.5 years but recently destroyed that too, the loofah dog was his favorite it was teeny tiny. (He had a big one but it was done for in a day!). He also loves chasing balls around the house and he loves toys that make noise.

Kirby (dog) 3 1/2 year old King charles Spanial.

he loves small bones and stuffed animals with things he can pull. but he does have a pretty small mouth so it cant be to big. he also likes the treats that look like eggs and bacon.

Norway loved his gifts last year!

Norway is a 75 lb. lab/golden mix. His favorite toys are tennis balls and nylabones. He's a very determined chewer so most things that say indestructible he can still destroy in a matter of minutes.

As far as treats, he has some food allergies so he can't have any rawhide or anything beef flavored. His favorites are snausages breakfast bites and the peanut butter and apple twisty ones.

Bella & Abbey: Pugs, they like balls, bones, budda stuffed dolls, any type of soft treats. They don't like raw hide, or any hard treats.


We loved the gifts from last year and the year before. Thanks for doing it this year.

I have a border collie mix named Rexy

He loves to chew chew chew
He likes the tough toys like rubber balls and those tough cloth bones so he can chew on them all day
He likes to chew on deer antlers as well.

Unfortunately he is on a limited ingredient diet so treats are a no no. But if anyone finds anything that has strictly fish in it I would thank them forever

I have a 2 1/2 year old maltese! He is a mush!!

He loves:
bacon treats
natural bones
squeeky toys
small balls to play fetch

I make him his own dog food, since he refuses to eat dog food.

My awesome dog's name is Peach
She is a year and a half Cockalier. She is actually quite tough for her 20 lb size so no soft rubber or cloth toys b/c she will just destroy them. she LOVES ropes and any treat she can chew for long periods of time !!

this is Jake. He is a 1 year old german short hair pointer. he is SUCH a rebel! he gets into EVERYTHING and likes to make a mess.

his favorite type of toy would be bones thats are long lasting, (but they dont last long here) lol... rope toys, kong toys, those that treats go into to recieve an award. balls and any stuff animal squeaky that he can destroy within 20 minutes. (stuff animals are the worst cause he destroys them, but THEY ARE HIS FAVORITE so of course being a good puppy mommy i get him them so he can destroy.

Sam & Logan- German Shepherds - both under 2 years old
Zoey- Rottweiler - 9 years old

BooBoo Kitten- 13 years old

No dog treats please. The best thing really are those toys with no stuffing, rope tugs or plain old handballs (usually from the sporting goods section - there are 3 in a canister).

My kids are not kind to their toys and everything is usually destroyed in short order. Still played with, but unkind.

Rocky Balboa is a 2 year old Puggle. He LOVES bones and chicken treats. He cannot have anything with stuffing or a squeaker in it because he loves them too much. He loves rope toys too!
