So glad you got them. Thank you for all you are doing. It feels so nice to be able to do something for a neighbor here on Long Island.
Anyone interested in helping kids impacted by Sandy please read the OPs first post on this thread to see her list of specific children, their ages, needs and wishes. It also shows what she has recieved for them already.

I can get 5 yr old #1 winter boots & coat
and 5yrd old #2 sneakers.
I didnt see newbie00's post about the sneakers for the 5yr old #2.
So i will just stick with boots & coats for 5yr old #1.

I'm very sorry... I'm not getting notifications when people reply to the thread (usually I get it in my email and can check right away). I came on tonight to check because i hadn't received any emails today... thought it was TOO quiet.
I did mess up with the coats... I apologize. i didn't update what Npbride was donating. It was totally my mistake. There is another girl who could use a new coat, so it will not go to waste if you are both still donating. I will contact you both via FM to make sure.
Again, I'm very sorry for the mix up.

May I suggest making a new posting listing any particularly important things that have not been given yet, so that people who might be hesitating to give something can go ahead and contact you by Forum Mail to make a pledge, then get whatever it might be.
Such as :
15 girl still needs ....
9 year old boy still needs ...
That way it would be super clear and anyone wondering could jump in and help.
Again, thank you for all that you are doing. This is not a small undertaking.
