2013 Goals

What are your goals for the new year?
My ultimate goal is to lose 10 lbs. I am going to try to avoid bread because that's what kills me.

In 2012, I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and started running - I went from not running at all to run/walking a 5K.

In 2013, I want to lose 25 pounds and I want to be able to run a full 5K.

In the summer and beginning fall I was in a great groove but the hurricane messed me up and I haven't gotten myself together since. As soon as the new year starts I need to be back on track.

2013 Goals

Get back to my pre pregnancy self and train/run my next half marathon. I'm only 3 wks post partum and within 6 lbs of my pre pregnancy weight but I know I lost a lot of muscle so I want to get that back more so than hit a number on the scale

Pre pregnancy weight is always my goal! LOL HS weight even better!


My two fitness goals are NYC Marathon (have an guaranteed entry) and a half Ironman triathlon - no time goal at all! just want to complete it and put that 70.3 sticker on my car!!!

2013 Goals

I would like to try to do more speed work so that I can improve my 5K time. So far, I am at 20:27 for a 5K (new PR in November) and I would LOVE to break 20 by the end of the next year.

I also need to start lifting again...

build more lean mass, lose a little more body fat

eat as clean as possible 85% of the time (I am so bad with this)

My goals are:

1) To run a 5k in less than 25 minutes
2) To run a 10k in under an hour
3) To do a triathlon
4) To get my body fat down to 15% (or at least 18-19%)
5) To do a pull-up (This is unlikely in 2013 as I am nowhere near it...but who says goals have to be realistic!!)

2. Get healthier - walk more and do yoga

3. Learn how to cook and eat healthy WITHOUT tracking so that I don't gain the weight back.

2013 Goals

1. Run another half marathon in the spring

2. Maybe train for a full (that's my lifelong goal).

3. Run 5k under 25 min. I'm really close!! My best time is 27:10.

4. Run a half at 2:05.

This is me.

I need to get back on track completely.

My goal is to eat healthier and limit quick prepared meals I find myself going to often during the week.

I also bought another unlimited yoga membership so my goal is to go 3x a week.

That's two weeknights and a weekend class.

Should be totally do-able.

the hurricane totally threw me off too.

my goals are to:

-run the NYC half in March and hopefully beat my time of 2:08
-tone my arms and legs
-get back to eating healthier
-improve my 5k time in the spring and summer

OMG same! Haven't worked out since SandyChat Icon My DREAM goals would ultimately be:

-lose 40 lbs
-tone
-complete the Couch to 5K program
-limit carbs/sugar
-exercise 4 times a week

My goals are to lose at least 5 more pounds. To run a 5K in under 25 minutes and to run a 10K with my son in the fall. Been way off track since Sandy as well. Going back full force next week!

-goal is to drop body fat into the 10-15% range
-increase the amount of weight that I lift with for each body part.

Oh and I forgot
To learn yoga and meditation....I've never been able to clear my mind and would love to be successful at this

Many studios offer cheap beginner specials.

Or groupon.

Highly recommend!

Run the 2013 NYC marathon. I have guaranteed entry this year.

All my other goals (getting fit, losing weight etc) are all really centered on this major goal.

I have lost 170 pounds since January 2011. I still need to lose a lot more. I would love to lose 50 more pounds by 2014 and run my first 5k.
