Re: 2016!
- Start a workout routine, whether that be working out at the gym or joining a fitness class. Still exploring different options.
- Put away the cell phones at dinner, especially when we're out (dh is the biggest offender of this) and have less screen time, more family time.
- Start a garden in the spring

Re: 2016!
Well this year my goal was to pack lunch for DH and I every day for a month...and at the end of January, I was like "well, that was pretty easy, let's try it for another month"...now we're a few days away from the new year and aside from a few work-related obligatory lunches for each of us, we brought lunch from home every single day.
And I watched the savings grow because of that, which was a nice side effect of my project.
For next year...we have something going on that I can't talk about but should be pretty exciting if it all comes to fruition (and then if it does, I'll post about it here)...also I want to focus more on yoga and Pilates. I don't make fitness goals with the new year, ever...but these are more like mental fitness goals. I've had a lot of stress these past few years and I find a lot of peace with yoga and Pilates.
Oh, and I want to do some more kayaking this year. I had a blast in Montana over the summer and I would love to do more rapids here on the east coast.

2016!
So cliché but my goal is loose the baby weight about 8 - 10lbs. I've been such a slacker when it comes to working out. I use to be an avid runner and I've been struggling to get back to the gym.
Good news is my 9 month old just started STTN! So hopefully this mama gets her energy back.
Also I want to save more $$. We've been splurging too much lately.

2016!
I had one hell of a 2015. Some good and some bad.
I was able to travel to Australia 2x. So I am looking to sit tight and not travel. Maybe a quick beach trip to visit my parents with DS but that's about it.
Hopefully selling my house and finding my dream (or close to it) house.
And being happy. With all that happened in my personal life I am not setting goals or expectations.....just taking life one day at a time and will hopefully happy at the end.

Re: 2016!
New baby New house New job hours
Lots to look forward to in 2016!!
ETA: For 2015, I had three goals I wanted to accomplish- get pregnant, buy a house, and get a new job. I'm 23 weeks pregnant, have a closing date in January on our new home, and while I didn't get a NEW job (which turned out to be a blessing), I got the hours I wanted and a hefty raise to boot. So 2015 was pretty damn successful, too!

2016!
I can't think of anything I'm looking forward to. This has been a rough back half of 2015 with DH being unemployed, me feeling depressed about my job situation, and DS in the process of an ASD diagnosis and starting Kindergarten in the fall. Just a lot of uncertainty. Last year was wonderful and this year felt like a kick in the rear. I am going back to school for my masters in Library Science, and although I feel like this is going to be a great path and I've been encouraged by many people to go, I can't help but worry.

Re: 2016!
I am mostly looking forward to visiting my family in NM in two weeks - we don't get to see them often and my son is meeting my paternal grandmother for the first time.
I would also like to spend more time on finding/cultivating a hobby for myself. I have many varied interests, but no real hobby that gives me joy.
I also plan to spend more time on me - fitness, eating healthy, staying organized, etc.

I pack DH lunch every, single day. He either eats leftovers from dinner (pasta, meatloaf, chicken, etc) or a simple PB&J sandwich with a yogurt. He brings granola bars and string cheese for snacks. Eating out costs so much so he brings lunch every single day.

Re: 2016!
I love these posts! I should look back to last year's and see all the things I didn't do.
-Watching toddler DD and baby DS grow! They are both going to change so much over the next year and it will be bittersweet but lovely too. -Hopefully get pregnant with our third and last.
-Get work certification that I didn't get to with pregnancy and maternity leave. Hopefully, a promotion in 2016/17.
-Have more patience, esp with DD and my mom. We're three peas in a pod and we all butt heads a lot even though DD is only 2 1/2!
-DS's baptism, DH's 40th(!), combined bday parties for the kids. -Some small trips for the kids like Sesame and Disney next December. -Pay down some debt and some other financial goals. -A couple of house projects. -Taking some time for myself and taking better care of myself. -More quality time with DH. -Unplugging more. -Taking care of some odds and ends that always fall through the cracks, like finding a good cleaning service.

Re: 2016!
Going to Disney in February and Puerto Rico in April. Goals for 2016 ..Buy a home ..Stop spending so much money on things I don't need and learn to save a bit more. ..Looking to have lean muscle by April 2016 (started in November and already seeing awesome results) ..Most of all and this should have been the top #1 is continue to live a happy life and worry less about things you can't control. If you're running late, so be it no need to rush, it's not the end of the world. ..Continue to see my girls grow healthy and may we explore more adventures together. ..be a better person and continue working on my mood swings especially when mother flows arrives.

I EASILY spend $60 per week on lunches, it drives me insane, but I just can't seem to regularly bring lunch. I really want to try to commit to it this year... keep your fingers crossed.

Lentil soup with bread on the side Vegetarian shepherds pie Roasted vegetable mac and cheese Penne with vodka sauce Pasta primavera Salad with falafel patties and turmeric-tahini sauce Potato curry, eggplant curry, rice Stuffed peppers Burrito bowls Vegetable lasagna Lasagna soup Eggplant rollatini Spicy Thai noodles with tofu Wraps with fillings like: lentil salad, bean sprouts, cheese, avocado, spinach, roasted veggies, etc

Re: 2016!
Mostly fun stuff, some serious stuff:
Go to the gym at least once a week
Pay off my CC debt - we just finished paying off DH's debt so we only have a little bit left
Find out (in April) where we are moving in the fall - SO excited about this!
Buy a new house
Get my kids more involved in sports, will probably start with swimming in the spring
Purge the house of junk food and buy more fruits/veggies
Knock at least 2 more baseball stadiums off our list, we have done 12 so far (14 if you include Shea and the old Yankee Stadium) and we want to check off Camden Yards and Nationals Park this summer

Re: 2016!
im starting iVF meds on 1/1 most likely. nothing like kicking off your new year with injections..lol.
I hope for DC # 2; DH and I will become aunt/uncle when his sister has her baby in march.
We are going to Chicago and Cincinatti in March for a trip. (Im a dork, and going to Lachey's bar b/c I love Nick and Drew..lol) and DH will get to write Notre Dame off his bucket list.
I'd like to get us on better eating habits too. all 3 of us. Dh and DS are picky eaters..so this will be a challenge for sure.
