Congrats Azad!!
DH and I started yesterday and he came home from work today and said "Stacy! I'm starving! When are we eating?" He is excited about officially starting the week off on Monday for our first official week. DH says it's harder at work to maintain under points than it is here at home. I go back Monday and I just have to pack baggies and ignore the yummy Krispy Kremes SCREAMING my name everyday!
I'm proud of us because we were IMMENSE Junk Food Junkies and we came in on Thursday night and got rid of everything yummy and delicious! It hurts and we can't possibly host anyone not on a diet right now but we have to do this for us!
We have small tiny goals but slow, steady paces will get us there!!!

if friends know that you're watching, they'll support u. we went to dinner at a friend's house. they had cake but didn't want to tempt us since they know we're watching what we eat

I'm really nervous about tomorrow I was up 1lb last week, which doesn't sound like a lot to the normal person but you all know how much it stings
I know I'll be up again because I was eating my moms cookies like they were going out of style (actually, they ARE going out of style...until next year )
I am going to join the gym. Even if I have to go at lunchtime and get 1/2 hour in 5 days a week. I'm just not exercising on my own like I was doing and the loss is slowing down dramatically. I have lots of toning to do.

I'm in, too! Managed to only gain .5 lb over the holidays but now I'm following a strict WW eating plan. I even have DH into it. Great start to the New Year. Good luck ladies!

Glad to see this thread. This site was a big support last time I did WW. I lost 50 lbs in 2005, kept it off then got pg. I had my baby in September and now I am ready to lose weight. Hopefully WW will work for me again. I am looking forward to chatting with all of you! Good luck!

Lots of people!! That's GREAT!!!
DH and I did it for a test drive for 3 days and after that he lost 2.4 lbs and I am down 1.4. I'm glad because he was starting to lose motivation on me.
I told him he could only have 24 points....ignorant me thinking I remembered everything! He can have 34 after the proper calculation!!!!
THAT'S A WHOLE LOT OF POINTS!!!!
Does that sound right? 34 points for a male?
P.S Mine stayed at a whopping 22. I can make it work though!

Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... OK, I'm back in it.
I go to WW tomoroow morning (no meetings today).
I lost 25 pounds on WW back in 2005. Now I am almost 7 months post pardem and still need to lose baby weight. I am 5 pounds heavier than I was when I started WW 3 years ago!
My goal weight is to get down to 145-150 (I was a rail at 145).
Oh yeah~ I took my very first "spin" class yesterday. I actually LIKED it (well, not at the time, but afterwards)!
This month is going to be VERY hard as I have to go to visit my parents in LI, then we are having friends stay with us the following weekend.
I'm scared I won't be able to stick with it....

YOU can do anything YOU set your mind too. Just plan, plan, plan. That's how I was able to do it a few years back. If I didn't plan, I would just binge and eat whatever. Plan that when you have your friends over...you're going to make such and such for dinner or go to such and such restaurant. Planning out meals beforehand got me through July 4th weekend, visitors and Labor Day in 2004.

I always have a ziploc full of pretzels in my hand so it might be tough making it through the day there. Our days are so long too. 6:30 to 4:30 and then school until 10:00. I'm gonna pack snacks and not go anywhere near anything not in my bag of approved snacks!!!

i bring snacks from home. i put a serving size into baggies. i know what i'm eating once its in the baggies

ok so the bad news is that I'm only 5 lbs lighter than I was at this time last year BUT the good news is that I have 5 lbs LESS to lose This time DH is doing it with me and we're really getting serious about it. I'm sick of looking in the mirror and saying
