Spinoff: Questions about Synthyroid
Hi all. I'm getting my thyroid removed this Monday (due to Graves disease). For those of you who take Synthyroid, was TTC's an issue? How many times does your dosage change? Thanks

I just went on synthroid - but I have subclinical hypothyroidism, meaning my TSH levels weren't THAT off.
Your TSH levels can affect your ability to conceive, but if managed correctly it shouldn't be an impediment. I'm getting checked once a month to make sure the dosage is correct.
I believe Bluepixie is on synthroid and she conceived in her first month of trying!

Thanks, I do know it will take a little while for my levels to even out. I'll be so happy to stop taking so many pills a day (right now I'm on PTU for Graves). That ends Sunday night!!
