2.5 year old, 1st stomach bug
oh what a night we had last night. thoughout the day yesterday, DS complained "his belly hurt" but he was otherwise acting normally, pooped, ate normally. Typical 2.5 year old behaviors.
At about 10pm, I happened to notice him sit up in bed and get sick literally watched it happen on the monitor. (of course we were away for the weekend in PA at my inlaws ski condo)...
we ran down, i grabbed him, his face we gray/green and he was shaking - had no clue what happened but kept saying "I sneezed a lot on my bed" which kinda makes me thinking back. We bathed him, get him comfy and into another bed. About 30 minutes later, sick again. He was OK for the rest of the night.
OK today, only ate a half plain bagel and some dry cereal, only water and pedialyte throughout the day.
If he is OK tonight, would milk be a bad idea tomorrow? He was acting totally normal tonight but not much appetite. I was not going to force food. What are some other foods for upset belly?
Is there a 24hr bug going around? Maybe it was bad food

I would wait on the milk another day unless he really asks for it.
We've had a few stomach bugs already - we usually stick to bland foods the next squash - crackers, toast, etc until DS asks for something specific.

thanks ladies. he made up our minds for us this am, HUGE tantrum over lack of milk. He had some and has eaten pretty well (waffles, strawberries) and seems fine! I guess it really was just 24 hours
