I'm not an expert, but I remember looking at cribs/furniture when I was early in my pregnancy with my son (15 years ago) just to get an idea. I'm pregnant now..and am only 7 weeks and am looking..lol. I think you should start now. At least so you can get an idea of what you like/want. If your family is purchasing it for you then I think you should start looking so that it can be added to your registry. If you and your husband are buying it..then yeah..I'd say it's time. Hope that helps.

The sooner the better, depending on what/where you order it - it could take up to 12 weeks to get.

BBB told me it takes 8-14 weeks for furniture to come in.

i'm 21 weeks. dh and i went to bbb yest. and ordered our set. if it's in stock it could only take a few days but if it's back ordered (mine was) it takes between 8-14 weeks. i'd go asap just in case. bbb had a much better and bigger section at bru (we registered at bru and then went to bbb b/c we couldn't find what we wanted.) happy shopping and good luck!

i'm 30 weeks and just ordered the crib and dresser. i still need a glider, rug, paint the nursery etc etc.

I ordered ds's furniture at the middle of jan. It came in March 1st, I had it delivered April 11th and had him April 13th. I ordered it from Behr's. I also told them an earlier due date but alot has to do with the manufacturer you coose. I have a Ragazzi set.

I ordered the Generation Next crib & both Behr's & BBB told me that it can take from 18 - 22 weeks to deliver. BRU has their own wearhouse, so they can get stuff to you alot quicker. I think they said same day/next day or 2 weeks max.
