Why does my son
think that 3:00am is wake up time????
The past few nights he gets up around 3-4 to eat (like usual) and then dosent wanna go back to bed...At first I thought it was all apart of this teething thing..but last night it seemed it had nothing to do with pain...just play!
It takes me an hur and a half to get him to go back to bed
I go back to work next week...and this most certainly wont work...
He goes to bed at 8... and I cant push it any later.... even thats a struggle... he starts falling asleep at 7..then I throw him in the tub...
It use to be he went to bed @ 8 woke @ 4-5 ate went back to bed til 7-9.... now we just have a 2 hr. playtime thrown in there
Whats this all about?

Re: Why does my son
Ok, you are going to think I'm crazy, but maybe he needs to go to sleep earlier!!!
With my daughter, keeping her up later seems to lead to more night wakings and an early morning wake time.
Sounds to me like your son may need to be in bed at 7 instead!

They have an article in Parents about this very subject. I find that if my kids are put to bed late they get up several times in the middle of the night & are cranky the next day.

Re: Why does my son
I know its hard but try not to speak to him or give him any interaction at this time. Keep it dark when feeding him. It is tough but I have heard it works
