28 weeks and light pink spotting...UPDATE below!
I am a bit nervous. I woke up this morning and I went to the bathroom (peed) and when I wiped there was some light pink blood on the TP. I have not had any bleeding since my last period in June. I called the Dr. and they want me to come in for a sono at 11:30 and to see what is going on. My lower back has been killing me for a week or so and I have had some pressure and light cramps down there for the past week but I thought it was totally normal (which it probably is) for the 3rd trimester. I have gone to the bathroom since and there is no more bleeding so hopefully that is a good sign. hopefully this is nothing!

Sounds like a UTI. Back pain is a common sympton, as is spotting.

Yup, I was just going to say this. I had no spotting but killer back pain with my recent UTI.

Just got home from the Dr. All looks good and they don't know what caused the bleeding. She did put me on the monitor for 20 minutes and i am contracting but not regularly. She wants me to stay home from work tomorrow and go back at 2:00pm to go back on the monitor to make sure it is nothing.
She did an internal and my cervix is tight and closed and the sono indicated that it was nice and long so this is not labor, which is a great thing. The placenta looks good too. The doc said that the cervix is a vascular mambrane and that could just be bleeding. Who knows! As long as my little guy is ok is all that matters! Thanks for all your well wishes!!!
