Anyone Here Born In Another Country? (Homework Help)
Nicholas came home today with a list of questions we have to interview someone with that emigrated to the U.S. from another country. Of course it's due TOMORROW. We don't know anyone from another country, other than deceased relatives  Anyone here (or have parents who emigrated) willing to answer a list of questions for his project? I would greatly appreciate it and so would he !! 
Here are the questions:
What is your name (First name)
When were you born
What country were you born in
What was the name of the town you came from
Do you have any memories of your native country? If yes, describe what you remember
In what year did you come to America
Why did you come?
Did you come by yourself or did you travel with your family?
Describe your journey to America. Please describe how you traveled.
Please describe what it was like to go through immigration. Did you go through Ellis Island?
What was life in America when you first came to live here?
What kind of work did you do when you first came?
Describe where you lived when you first arrived?
Please describe how life in America was different compared to the Country where you originally came from?
Are there any stories that you could tell me that would help me better understand how lucky we are to live in the U.S.?

Does it have to be someone who came recently? My grandmother is 81, and came to the United Stated through Ellis Island from Italy in 1932. She was only 5 years old, but she remembers everything in detail lol, I still love hearing her stories. Not sure if the person had to be an adult when they came though. Let me know!

I wish DH was around (he is taking his mother to a Broadway show tonight)
He was born in Poland and came here in 1990 when he was 13. I have heard so many things about his trip here and why and the culture shock. Sometimes I wish he would write it down for DD so she could read it one day.
