$2.92 (not gas related)
The price I just paid after tax for a MEDIUM iced COFFEE at Dunkin Donuts here in Manhattan.
$2.92!!!!!!!! I can't believe it.
And this is for a coffee (a medium not even a large)... and not even a latte or a turbo. They have to be kidding. And they can't even say it's due to inflation. Coffee is water and coffee beans. How much of a markup is here. I got mine with milk but for the amount of milk they add it's very negligable.
People say Starbucks is expensive. I don't ever recall an iced coffee at Starbucks being close to three dollars.
And Starbucks coffee tastes way better too. My DD coffee tastes so watered down.

I'd go to Starbucks and see what they charge now. Haven't been in awhile, but a small coffee with them was just under $2 not so long ago.

However I think i'd rather pay $3.80 for a gallon of gas over $2.92 for a 1/3 gallon of iced coffee.

I got a decaf grande iced coffee at bucks today and it cost 2.60. I always have them put it in a venti cup so I don't have to spill out any coffee to add milk.

This is why I have stopped going to DD for coffee in the morning and have started drinking the free cr@p they call coffee in my office!

I've also stopped buying coffee, I only get it 1-2x a week now if that. I make it at home and cut back on coffee intake

Coffee prices are crazy!
We're lucky because DH's cousin works at Starbucks so he ships us his weekly 1lb. of coffee, then DH brews it at home in our Grind & Brew. It's just as good!
And DH knows how to make some great cappucinos, lattes, etc!

I had a Krups jammie a while back...worse than starbucks those things were.
was told it was b/c the water didn't get hot enough.
I need to pay the bucks and get the good machine

I need to pay the bucks and get the good machine
There was a hidden menu since it has a digital LED display and I was able to beef up the temp.
It comes out hot, but I am sure a more professional machine would come out hotter.
The steamer on it is pretty good, I can get the milk up to 170-180 degrees pretty easily so it makes great cappuchinos.

I started making my own coffee in the morning cause I am tired paying that money for it. I was running late on Monday so I stopped at DD in the morning and I noticed their prices went up!! Rediculous!!

I buy DD coffee from BJs - I program the Krups to make DH's coffee in the morning and it comes out great.
For myself, I use my rinky dink stove top metal espresso pot with the coffee my cousins brought over from Italy and it comes out perfect.
Although, I do love some of the iced cofee drinks and I will get them about once a month as a treat from Starbucks or DD. And I also love the eggnog lattes BUT I learned to make them myself by simply adding my own eggnog!

You know I tried this today because I was curious and yeap... $2.60 for a grande iced coffee in a venti cup.
Now granted this was without any syrup (starbucks charges for syrup while DD doesn't). With that said, I got a better iced coffee since it was starbucks. Doesn't taste watered down or anything.
So it's official. Dunkin Donuts is now officially more expensive than Starbucks. Wow.
Oh and I passed by DD at Penn today. $1.25 for a donut.

actually, b/c of all the ice, they actually have to brew more coffee in order to make an iced coffee, otherwise it would just taste like dirty water.
