2nd birthday - Kids party venue (Queens/Nassau)
Could anyone reccommend a kids birthday party venue for my daughter's 2nd birthday in the Queens/Nassau area? I would like to hold off from Bounce U until she's a bit older (maybe next year). Since her birthday is in March I'd like an all indoors place.
Also, has anyone hosted or been to a bday party at the LI Puppet Theatre? Someone suggested it to me but she was there many years ago and has no idea how it is now.
Thanks!!

I have never been to a party here myself but I have heard people say nice things about hereAlly Pond Environmental Center
Also, the carousel at Mitchell Field might be fun for that age.

I went to a party at the LI Puppet Museum, but it was before I had kids. They have shows all weekend - why don't you go check it out? It was boring for me - the kids seemed to love it though.

I was thinking of taking my daughter to one of their shows to see how she likes it.. maybe I'll just do that.

Nunley's Carousel
I love this idea but my daughter is a little weary of carousels. Maybe when she is a bit older.

Once Upon A Treetop is perfect for that age!!! It's in Plainview.
We went here the last time we visited my parents in LI. Our boys had a blast!
We attended a party at LIC Kids once in LIC. I thought they did a very good job.

Have you had or been to a party there? Do you know what type of favors they give that are included in the package?

Yes, we just went to 3 parties there this winter! They give you a little plastic container full of goldfish. It's one of those with the flap lid and comes with a little scooper.

Re: 2nd birthday - Kids party venue (Queens/Nassau)
We had DD's 2nd birthday last year at Kids Playhouse in Astoria.
We loved it. It's small, but you get the whole place for your party. It's immaculate and staff was amazing. there is a baby/toddler area and one for bigger kids (climbing structure with slides). DD was 2 and so were a few of her friends and they all played in both areas. The price wasn't bad (I think about $400) They provide food and drinks for the kids & drinks for adults. You bring in a cake and I asked and was allowed to bring in chips, dips, cheese & cracker platter & fruit platter for adults.
2 of our friends booked their kid's parties there after ours.
We just went to a party at Party Zone in College poin/whitestone...it was okay, but I would not reccomend it as it wasn't very clean and kind of run down.

Re: 2nd birthday - Kids party venue (Queens/Nassau)
We hosted DS's first bday at GymAzing in astoria...can't rave enough about the owner and the wonderful attendants!
3 girls were assigned to DS's party and they did face painting, bubbles, dancing, limbo....definitely earned their gratuity. Can't recommend it enough.
I also attended a party at american Dance and Drama in Fresh Meadows. It was nice because the entire bottom floor was for the party only and tables were set up for parents and kids to eat, seems like another good option in the area.

Yes several parties. They were all great IMO. It totally depends on the energy of the teacher conducting the party.

The Childrens Safari in Valley Stream... We had DS's 2nd Birthday party there and it was great. Had kids from 18 months-10 years old and they all had fun.... And they are reasonably priced!!!
