2nd Birthday Invitation Need Opinions - Pic Inside
This is what I have...i'm not having a specific theme this year other than some good old backyard fun with waterslides and sprinklers and stuff.
What do you think? Anything you would change? Colors, font, etc.
Also, do you think 3pm is too late. I was just trying to avoid peak sun time so people aren't sweltering.

I love it and the pic of him is adorable. I don't think 3pm is at all late. But honestly the weather that we have been having lately is so unpredictable. Who know if it will be that warm. I think we have been around mid 70's mostly so far this month. Maybe just push it up an hour??

I would also increase the font size on the wording below the party date. Unless it just shows really small in the post.

yeah, it defiantely looks a lot smaller seeing is posted than it does when I'm actually doing it. I'll play around with it a little.
Also, I think the second paragraph is crooked (where is says that we're celebrating his second birthday).

Ladies, primarily it is you guys I'm concerned about as far as time goes because of the little ones. I know Matthew take an early afternoon nap so 3pm is good for him because he'll be rested. What about your kiddies?
As for the rest of the guests, it probably doesn't matter too much because the rest of the kids are older and it give my family time to travel to NJ.

Not that I am invited, but I would LOVE a 3 pm party for my son (18 months). Being later than the peak sun exposure time is a huge plus for me - I can get a little paranoid about sunburns. Also, no matter how late he naps, 3:00 is well after whatever time he would wake up.

Can you somehow add a beach ball or something like that to the left of his legs with the primary colors that are in the tube? I am seeing too much water but I love the idea

LOL --- that's funny.
Actually not sure if I'm going to get the grill guy like I did last year (burgers, dogs, sausage and peppers, crab cakes) or if we're going to take the plunge and just cook ziti, chicken, heroes, salads).
The grill guy may or may not have gone out of business.

I love it!! i would make the bottom fond darker..your DS is so cute!@!
P.S. we are having Gavins birthday at 3:00 in July. I think its a perfect time. Its after his nap so thats why we picked it LOL
