2nd day of school, and school closed!

We live in Northern NJ, and today my kids' school is closed due to area flooding. The community where the school is, and the surrounding communites that it serves are some of the hardest hit areas. Many of the children attending their school have lost their homes and are living in hotels, etc. Please say a prayer for them.

When you watch the news and they show Pompton Plains, Pequannock, Lincoln Park, Pompton Lakes and Wayne.... this is the area I am talking about. After just beginning to clean up from Irene, they are flooding again. It is just so so sad.

Such a sad situation! It's a lot more fun when school is closed for a snow day --- then for this reason! I hope the area is able to be cleaned up soon, so that you guys can start to get back to normal!
