2nd time around (or more) baby furniture
We have to get this baby new furniture because my son will be 18 months when this little one comes, and will still be in his crib. But I am having alot of trouble finding a set. My son's is cherry....should I go a different wood, or go with the same wood....I know its a silly question, but just something I was wondering... \ Also, if you have your furniture picked out, can you please post a pic! Thanks!

i'm in the same boat. I'm definitely going with a different color wood, DD has white, I want to go with Cherry. I'm actually leaning towards buying "youth" furniture instead of nursery furniture. I haven't foudn anything yet.

Re: 2nd time around (or more) baby furniture
its just more like regular furniture, no changing table, just regular dressers and bureaus. I figured I could buy a changing table that matched the color of the wood for pretty cheap, and then in 2 years, I wouldn't have to buy new furniture again.

We are giving the baby the "nursery" furniture and getting Jeremy big boy furniture.

Re: 2nd time around (or more) baby furniture
If we have a girl I am getting white. If a boy I am getting natural wood. For me I don't like dark wood because it gets way to dusty and I am lazy It looks nice though
Here are some that I like.
We already have crib from my SIL and Andrew's natural wood crib.
We also wanted smaller furniture because our rooms aren't big and we didn't want the furniture over powering the room.

Re: 2nd time around (or more) baby furniture
We are moving our daughter into a "big girl" room and keeping the nursery intact...if I could only find her nursery furniture that was in stock I would be a lot less stressed!
