2nd Tri Cramps and Spotting?

I'm 16 weeks and having pretty bad cramps. I had some light spotting twice yesterday (just some pink on the toilet paper) and just had it again. Anyone experience this in the 2nd trimester?

I didn't experience this but my dr did say to call if there was any second tri bleeding/spotting. Did you recently ? If so, could be from that.

I'm sure a call to the dr will pit your mind at ease !!

i have not experienced this, just some brown spotting at 12 or 13 weeks...

i hope everything is ok!

i would call your dr. asap, they will prob have you come in to check everything!

sorry, i havent experienced this either, but call your dr! my dr said to call if i have any spotting or bleeding, no matter what tri i'm in.

I had some cramping and spotting after falling on the ice @ 15wks with Logan. Dr got me in for a sono within a couple of days of the fall (the cramps/spotting had stopped) and found that I had a low-lying placenta. The baby was perfectly fine, and they determined the placenta was likely the cause of the blood.

p.s. - that placenta issue resolved itself by 20something weeks.

Definitely call your OB and see what he/she says. They may ask you to come in.

I had some red bleeding at 19w and it turned out to be a borderline placenta previa that had resolved itself by my 20w Level II.

Thanks everyone. I do have placenta previa. The preinatologist said it was gone, but maybe they were wrong? I'll call the doc. I haven't spotted and the cramps are still there, but no where near as bad. I've had cramps all along during this pregnancy though. I listened to the heartbeat and it sounded like it usually does (I know I'm no doctor though).
